pour it on me.

kl's been raining so heavily these past few days.
and i heard from my sisters and brother that Wales and Dublin are snowing heavily.
i saw in the papers the picture of London snowing heavily.
*sigh*
how i miss snow.
but i'm a little scared of the effects of global warming.

just yesterday i was driving to Semenyih...
and oh.em.gee.
it rained so hard that every car was literally driving at.. what... around 40km/h?!
at one point in cheras it flooded... so the traffic was awful since all cars had to slow down trying to get past the flood.
and my car?
being lowered and whatnot... i had to push push push through the flood hoping that the engine doesn't die on me.
and right before this toll was an Esso petrol station.
two policemen with lights heading people off into the other direction cos the flood took up 2 lanes and was really high up that you couldn't get in nor out of the petrol station.
crazy.
scary.
my drive to Semenyih was like a heart beat away from a heart attack.

my dad arrived this morning and it was pouring heavily again.
what more with the car acting up... i just prayed that i'd get to KL Central on time without a break down.
and yes. floods.
thankfully there's the Duke Highway... *5 minutes to Greenwood*
hahahaha

well, with my dad's arrival.. my outings are probably a little limited cos now i have to answer to some questions when i go out. Hhahaha..
one thing i am happy about is this:



the infamous South African mangos!!!
everytime my mom or dad comes from south africa i'd ask them to buy these for me.
and lucky for me, it's the season!
and look at the size of it!
besar kan!

so yea...
he came down for a meeting that starts on the 5th and lasts til the 8th.
so it's those days that i am available people.
well... i am available other days too..
i just have to argue with my dad over who gets the car.
hahaha

hmm...
o yea. one more thing.
i find it weird that 2 cats have died at my house.
like.. on the front porch.. within the gates.
they actually came here to die.
do you find that weird?
maybe a little scary?

i love these two to bits and pieces.
it's amazing.. this feeling of love...
seriously.
i never thought i'd love somebody this much.
maybe you'd have to experience it to know it :)
i can literally say that i'd do anything for them..anything.

perjuanganku.

sorry for the lack of update.
but i just haven't been online long enough to be able to update.
or even to just visit anyone else's blog.

it's february.
soon it'll be the end of the month.
and it's back to adelaide, assignments, presentations, and several nervous breakdowns by myself... in my room.

what have i been up to lately?
watched movies.
that's what i mainly do when i go out.
i've watched everything possible that i might like...even going out on a limb one night and watching a late night movie with the rest of the Adelaideans.
why is that going out on a limb?
well we watched a chinese movie called Red Cliff?
one i would have never watched if it wasn't for the people and the situation that forced me.
it turned out okay. just that everyone got so tired we basically all slept at least one part of the movie.

i had a night of watching Malay movies last night with my B.
we watched Sifu dan Tongga and Maut.
hmmmm... in my opinion.. Sifu and Tongga.. the basic stupid humor that Saiful Apek makes.
a little laugh here and there.
but biasa lah.... it was a ridiculous story line.
now.. Maut. very the insaf movie.
it consists of 3 stories.
the first that i don't really get.
the 2nd and the 3rd ... really making me feel guilty of how i've lived my life.
it was a good movie.
very educational... religion-wise.

i eventually agreed to go karaoke-ing with my B in between the two movies.
it was one of those karaoke box.. literally a small box closet. hahaah.
like... 1 song = rm1??????
hahahahaha. yes i am still laughing at myself.
donno why? takpelahhhh.
bowling was considered.. but it might have been a little boring to see which one of us were a better loser than the other.

today.. or should i say yesterday since it's already the next day.
it was an even challenging day for me.
meeting the unexpected.
at a very unprepared state of mind.
but it went smoothly ... i think.
i'm happy with myself.
and i don't ever wanna do it again.
lol.

aside for that...
my dad's coming back on tuesday.
