lest we fall.

so today i visited the Istana Maimun... which didn't really look like an istana at all.
and plus, the way they exhibit the stuff is just... really sad.
sad... as if in... ugly.
there's nothing much to look at in there.
and they close off most parts of the istana cos they rent it out to their people. -_-!
and to think those bedrooms and beautiful hallways could've made great exhibition rooms!~

the weather is just wayyy too hot and humid here.
worse than malaysia.
and my dad, brother, and i friggin walked there!
we walked for around 2.5km one way!~
with the frantic traffic here
even us walking on the side of the road was stuck in the traffic jam!

so i will post photos up of the istana next time.
but i have pictures of my overnite trip :)

quite a show

helllloooiii~
i am currently in Medan, Indonesia...
the internet has just been installed...
so yes, i haven't had internet access since friday.
but it was all good cos i've been super busy since i arrived.

my parents brought me along to the farewell dinner at the embassy...
where there was dancing, karaoke, and the poco2!!~ hahaha
although my mom tried to force me into singing, i held my stand that i didn't want to.
i will post those pictures up later cos they're in my phone.

then my parents had planned an overnight trip the next day...
first we went to Parapat, staying at a beautiful hill top hotel overlooking the Danau Toba lake.
then we headed to Siposipiso, the waterfall was beautiful but no one was adventurous enough to climb down there with me so we just took pictures.
lastly, we headed to Berastagih, where they grow fresh fruits and vegies!~
..and sold rabbits on tables.

i will post up photos once i get them off my camera :)

p.s. i can't wait to get my dslr soon and go on my planned trips in msia as well :)
